I was disappointed with my dining experience as the food lacked flavor and seemed overpriced. Paying $39 for a pasta dish that wasn't even freshly made was particularly disappointing. It felt like a waste of both my time and money. Overall, I cannot highly recommend this restaurant based on my experience. It seems that at this establishment, you're essentially paying for the atmosphere rather than the quality of the food itself. While the ambiance may be appealing, the value proposition for the culinary experience seems to be lacking.

Although we had a long wait to be seated (an hour) and for the order, the food was well worth it. A perfect breakfast with crispy rosti, runny poached eggs and black sesame latte. Haven't had this latte anywhere and worth a try. Menu was adapted to suit my dietary requirements (vegetarian).

Arrived around 10am in the morning and there was a queue waiting for a table, so I decided to come back around 2 and hopefully I can get a table. Lucky most people started to leave after lunch and we got a table. Food was great and their team were super friendly. Highly recommend it but you may have to wait for a table unless you can skip the breakfast/lunch hour rush.

While the lunch is solid, bill’s claim to fame are the ricotta hotcakes (IMHO) Some of the best pancakes (or hotcakes) I’ve EVER had (and I’ve had my fair share) They’re light, fluffy, decadent.. with just the right amount of sweetness and honeycomb butter.. You know they know what they’re doing when they slide in multiple circular slices of honeycomb butter between the hotcakes! (vs. just one slab on the top) Got a side of scrambled eggs which were also.. so so good. Way better than average.. suspect they scramble this in the honeycomb butter (drool.. ) Zucchini fries are a must get during lunch!

One of the best pancakes I've had. Soo fluffy with the right amount of butter. Love it! Scrambled eggs from Full Aussie and Avo Sourdough were also yum. I also tried Matcha Latte, was good

Come here for quintessential Australian breakfast experience. We arrived upon opening on a Sunday and the tables quickly filled up. Loved the decor, very cozy, moody and modern. Service was super quick despite the constant flow of customers. Coffee is divine and ricotta pancakes live up to the hype! They were fluffy and light … so good. Scrambled eggs were silky smooth, like ribbons and went well with the side of chilli sambal. Can’t wait to go back.

It has been awhile since coming here (about a decade). Still as I remember. Reasonably tasty food. Ok fluffy pancakes, average corn fritters, and pretty good coffee. Cafe's have evolved over time, so time for me to move on too

I’ve seen lots of great reviews around about this place but I’m yet to see why. I bought the ricotta pancakes this morning as a treat ($28!) and while the portion was good, the banana wasn’t worth eating (black throughout inside) and the coffee arrived lukewarm. Would give it a miss.
